Vintage Gucci Women’s Multicolor Plaid 100% Silk Satin Square Scarf 32”x32”

Used🧣 Silk Scarves · 1950s–90s

The edit · Silk Scarves

A used silk scarf in satin. Silk scarves from these decades were designed by artists and finished by hand. A signed, hand-rolled hem still reads as luxury sixty years on.

Florentine craft meets Italian glamour.

Founded in Florence in 1921 by Guccio Gucci as a leather goods and luggage house. The bamboo handle, the Jackie bag and the GG monogram made Gucci a mid-century icon, revived by Tom Ford in the 1990s.

Vintage Gucci is the sweet spot: the craftsmanship is real, the designs are historic, and the entry price is still approachable. The Bamboo and Jackie bags are the flagships.

What to look for

Look for the stamped serial and the quality of the bamboo, which should be hand-bent with visible heat marks. Older GG canvas has a depth that modern printing lacks.

Hand-rolled hems and saturated color are the tells of a good scarf. Gently steam it before judging; vintage silk relaxes beautifully.

How to wear it

Knot it at the neck, tie it onto a bag handle, or frame it. A scarf this good spends as much time on display as it does on your shoulders.
